 Loha Prasart ( Metal Castle)
Wat Ratchanaddaram Worawihan From the Golden Mount, Loha Prasart is just across the street. It is located in Wat Patchanaddaram.
Laha Prasart is called as such be cause its spires are made of metal ( loha is Thai word of metal ) The Loha Prasart is 36 metres high. It is built in Thai style with 37 spires symbolizing 37 items of Dhamma in Buddhism. In the middle of the Prasart there is a spiral stairs leading to upper stories. Throughout human history, there have only been three Loha Prasarts in the world and only this one survives today. Admission is free.
